Candidates who wish to apply to the graduate or direct doctoral programs

Registration closes on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 16:00

Students who wish to apply to either program should register online through the university's registration website and submit the relevant documentation as noted on the website: https://www.ims.tau.ac.il/md/rishum/login.aspx

In addition to their registration on the website, candidates are requested to submit the following documents to the School's secretary both by mail and in print:

  1. Application form, found here, including research statement, a passport-sized photo,  and e-mail addresses of two references
  2. A standalone resume 
  3. Original or copy certified by the institution where candidates have studied of current grade sheets and an undergraduate certificate or a letter of an eligibility for an undergraduate degree
  4. A PowerPoint presentation as detailed in the application form (e-mail submission only)

All materials must be electronically sent to ruthiw@tauex.tau.ac.il

Printed matter (excluding the presentation) must be submitted at the following address: Tel Aviv University, Webb building, Floor 5, Room 514 b.

Following a preliminary evaluation and screening, suitable candidates are invited to an interview with the Admission Committee.

Candidates are asked to give the presentation they had submitted with their application. The committee assesses the knowledge gained by candidates in previous studies, their ability to contend with questions that necessitate creative thought, analytical competences, understanding of core principles in research methods and subjects of interest as defined by them in their presentation and Research Statement.

Interviews are scheduled for approximately ten minutes.

Interviews with the Admission Committee shall take place between May 1, 2018 and May 8, 2018. Responses shall be sent to candidates by mid May 2018.

Candidates who wish to apply for the regular doctoral program

The committee assesses the knowledge gained by candidates in previous education, their ability to contend with questions that necessitate creative thought, analytical competences, understanding of core principles in research methods and subjects of interest as defined by them in their presentation and Research Statement.

Interviews are scheduled for approximately twenty minutes.

Interviews with the Admission Committee shall take place between May 1, 2018 and May 8, 2018. Responses shall be sent to candidates by mid May 2018.
